Today is international women’s day and the theme for this year is DigitALL: Innovation and technology for gender equality. It has been a smooth and rough journey so far with my current professional field as a health communicator in Sierra Leone , using digital technology in informing people about health issues and also advocating on how best to improve it.
I have been using all forms of digital technology in helping to change the current status quo in our health system, from radio interviews , television interviews, social media and even blog websites in reaching out to the public.
This has resulted in some positive outcomes in getting to inform the public about some diseases and the importance of early detection in diagnosis.
Happy to have been selected and invited by Orange Digital Center in Sierra Leone to improve in skills like Customer Relationship Management to help give quality health care delivery using digital technology.
